VigoWallet Inc. (“VigoWallet,” “we,” “us”) operates the VigoWallet website, dashboard, and related services (the “Service”). This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It should be read with our Terms of Service.
1. Who this applies to
This policy covers visitors to vigowallet.app and people who create a VigoWallet account. If you access the Service on behalf of an organization, that organization is responsible for providing any notices required to its users.

Wallet, portfolio, and activity
- Balances, deposits, withdrawals, staking positions, alerts, watchlists, and related transaction history
- Wallet or deposit addresses you provide or that we generate for your account
- Support messages and admin notifications associated with your account
Automatically collected
- IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, and request logs

We do not collect
- Payment card numbers through VigoWallet itself (billing, if offered, is handled by a processor)
- Advertising identifiers for third-party ads — we do not run ads on the Service
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the Service (including deposits, staking, and alerts)
- Authenticate you, detect abuse, and enforce our terms
- Send transactional email (verification, password reset, deposit/alert/staking notices)
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests
- Understand product usage only if you opt in to analytics cookies — analytics stay off until you accept
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context advertising.
4. Cookies
We use:
- Essential — session cookie (
vigowallet_session) and consent cookie (vigowallet_consent) so the product works and we remember your choice - Analytics — optional, off by default; used only after you accept in the cookie banner
You can change cookie preferences anytime via Cookies in the footer. See also this Privacy Policy for how related telemetry is handled.
5. Processors and third parties
We use vendors solely to operate the Service, including:
- Hosting and edge delivery (VPS origin behind Cloudflare)
- Database and cache (Postgres, Redis)
- Transactional email (Resend)
- Market prices (CoinGecko or similar public price APIs)
- CMS for the public blog (Sanity)
- Error monitoring (Sentry) — crash reports, not marketing profiles
- On-chain explorers (e.g. Etherscan) when verifying deposits
These parties process data under their own terms and only as needed to provide their service to us.
6. Retention
We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as required for security, tax, dispute, and legal obligations. Server logs are retained for a shorter operational window. You can ask us to delete or export account data; some records may be retained where the law requires it.
7. Security
We use industry-standard controls including encrypted transport (TLS), hashed passwords, httpOnly session cookies, and access-restricted admin tools. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. Notify us immediately at support@vigowallet.app if you believe your account was compromised.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@vigowallet.app from the address on your account. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
We may process data in the United States and other countries where we or our processors operate. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you understand that your information may be transferred to those locations.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change, and material updates may also be announced in-product or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised policy.
